Bed Bug Treatment

  • Before the treatment, mop and vacuum all areas.
  • Throw away the vacuum cleaner bag.
  • All clothes, sheets and blankets need to be washed with detergent and hot water.
  • Since heat kills bedbugs, be sure to dry your clothes, sheets and blankets on high heat for a minimum of 50 minutes.
  • Items that need to be dry cleaned, bag them and seek a professional dry cleaners for the best practices. Be sure to make the dry cleaners aware that your clothes may have bed bugs BEFORE you drop them off.
  • After washing, place clothes, sheets and blankets in sealed bags.
  • Mattresses and box springs should be covered with a bedbug proof encasing.
  • At least 3 treatments are often needed.
  • If the infestation is extreme, we do offer whole house Tent Fumigation. In which case the above preparation would not be needed.
